01/98 #1 Fees
Each member of
the Executive Committee will inform the Treasurer of the participation
of members in their area of responsibility. For example, the SIG coordinators
will report participation in the SIG meetings. The president will report
participation in general club activities and the newsletter editor will
report participation in the newsletter. All participation will be tracked,
even after a person fulfills their minimum of 2 activities.
The president
will prepare a certificate of appreciation for members and will present
it to the member before the end of their membership year. Once a member
has participated twice he/she is eligible for the recognition.
Only paid, Active
Members are eligible for this recognition.
01/98 #2 Visitors
If a person visits
for the first time in September, 1992, he/she will be admitted free. For
each subsequent visit for a year, from that day forward, a five-dollar
charge will be applied. If the same person wishes to attend a meeting
as a visitor in March, 1993, for example, a five-dollar meeting fee will
still be required. The next free meeting would occur in September, 1993.
But if the member were to pay full Active Membership dues in March 1993,
all active member privileges would begin in March and last until February,
1994, inclusive. Past visitor payments would not be reimbursed in any
way.
