Webmaster
Paul reported he continues to work on the site. Our request for suggestions for the Club produced a positive attitude to our meetings but no concrete suggestions for subjects.

Vintage SIG
No report

PC SIG
The Digital Imaging Group is to present a program at the February meeting. The January meeting had a presentation on Service Pack II and on the Firefox Browser.

Digital Imaging SIG Report
There were 12 members and a visitor at the meeting at Elizabeth Gillan’s. We then worked on our presentation for the February General Meeting of BUG. The members brought pictures which were collected to put in a programme. The next meeting will be at Elizabeth’s.

Video SIG
Nine disks have been sold and there are three left. It was suggested the DI Group might help with a cover. There was a suggestion a proper microphone would make it easier to record the meetings (which are being compiled by the Video SIG. ) It also would help the speaker. Mike will check into cordless mikes and speakers.

Business Arising From Minutes
The part of Winterfest involving children’s programs has been canceled. It was suggested that the Video Group and the DI group try to get members to go out and photograph the events in order to prepare a presentation perhaps for Summerfest.
Ray couldn’t purchase business cards so will use some he has. The club will buy him a cartridge for his printer in compensation. He was given permission to give an old monitor to a former member of the Club.

New Business
Suggestions for meeting subjects::
· Eric Brown might give a program on Artificial Intelligence. March? April? Mike to call Eric.
· A program on slide transferring? (Paul has a back lit box for doing this. He doesn’t think such a thing is still available.)
· A program on how to prevent flare when copying 8 or 16mm film to digital video.
· Suggestions from the Executive for future meetings included how to create a personal web site - general introduction such as why do it? Samples?
· Ray referred to web site “cyberwalker” concerning a large list of potential program ideas.

Brian reported he used a web site - kimcomando.com - which provided articles of interest about computer related subjects and sends to your email.

Motion to Adjourn
Moved by Dave, seconded by Don Passed: Time 9.15
