Secretary’s Report
The minutes were approved as corrected. Moved by Ray and seconded by Mike. Passed.

Treasurer’s Report
Total Balance as of April 5, 2005 - $1,846.67
Acceptance of this report moved by Paul and seconded by Ray. Passed

Membership Report
George reported 33 members. 23 members and 2 visitors attended the April meeting.
E-mail address for new member Muss Gunter. There will be a new membership form for the next regular meeting.

Newsletter Report
Paul will write a short explanation of the new membership form for the newsletter. The executive agreed on what information should be included on the form.

Webmaster
Paul reported that he has followed up some of those who searched our web site with some interesting results. The Linux group’s site has a link to our site. He continues to add links to our site. (Barrie Linux, Spyware, howitworks, hplearning)

Vintage SIG
Ray reported the Celebrate Barrie (now represented by Fred Andrews) will hold a meeting on May 26 at 5.30 pm. He can attend. Dave may also attend.

PC SIG
Mike reported Paul did a programme on e-mail for the April meeting. It was well received.
May - need to appoint a nominating committee.
June - elections
July - August - home video and networking
October - Genealogy
Suggested future programmes
- Maps on the net.
- Perhaps the video programme - wincam 2000 on video editing
- tricks with XP
- Travel sites on the net. We might invite a travel agent to explain how to prepare for a trip

Digital Imaging SIG Report
Report: 11 members and 2 visitors attended. Paul gave a demonstration on the use of “Panorama” for putting together your digital images. Mike showed some pictures he had taken at Elizabeth’s art show. We were shown how pictures could be manipulated using different effects.

Video SIG
A documentary on editing video called Edge Codes was shown at the last meeting. No meeting has been scheduled for this month They are hoping to produce a power point presentation on networking.

New Business
The June BBQ for the Executive will be held at Mike’s on June 16th. Dave requested that members of the executive inventory their supplies and bring a list to the June Executive meeting. A new location for the September corn roast was discussed. The Scout building at Centennial was mentioned as a possibility.
