The November meeting was a success with an informative
program by Paul.
He will continue with his Web and XP information presentations.
We need a new list of subjects for coming programs.
February is to be a presentation on old Camera’s by Brian.
Other suggestions from the executive were:
Music including freebies on the net.
Ways to set up windows for getting symbols to insert.
Spreadsheets and data bases.
The possibility of finding a video on computers - how they work, programs,
history, etc.
Digital
Imaging SIG Report
14 members, one visitor and a speaker and his assistant,
Peter Wu gave an excellent presentation on digital cameras and explained
some of their differences also how they differ from non digital cameras.
We examined the cameras after his talk and then looked at a few of our
own pictures. Next month we are planning to discuss scanners.
Ken will write up a report for the newsletter on Peter’s talk and
send Peter a copy and a thank-you from the group.
