Minutes were approved as corrected.
Moved by Dave seconded by Paul. Passed.

Treasurer’s Report
Total Balance as of 07/12/05 $1,512.48
Acceptance of the report moved by Paul, seconded by Don.
Passed.

Membership Report
George sent his report.
There are 34 members. 18 members and one visitor attended the December meeting.

Newsletter Report
Don is still looking for articles for the Newsletter.
Submissions for next month should be in by December 25th.
Ken wrote an article on Peter Wu's presentation to the DI SIG for the last Newsletter.
Dave resubmitted an article on group participation he had written for the 1985 Newsletter. It is still relevant.

Anniversary Committee
No Report.

Webmaster
There have been a few changes to the web site.
The meeting dates for 2006 have been added.
The material has been synchronized in order to make the site easier to manage.

Vintage SIG
Paul will check to see if TPUG is reconnected to the net. It is on our web site. If it isn't link will be removed.

PC SIG
At the December meeting Mike spoke about audio channels.
Paul and David also made presentations.

At the January meeting Dave will do a Video presentation and the burning of a CD. Mike will lead a short discussion on what people got for Christmas and Paul will talk sending your pictures by email.

February is to be a presentation on old cameras by Brian.

March - Spreadsheets and databases.

Digital Imaging SIG Report
11 members attended.
Elizabeth did a short presentation on the uses of a scanner. She showed some examples of the results. The group came up with some other ideas.
Paul found the OCR Program and explained its use.
Dave showed some examples of making a slide presentation including sounds.
Members were asked to bring their Holiday pictures to the January meeting.

Video SIG
There was a meeting last month.
In future the meetings will be held on the Thursday after the Executive Meeting.
There will be no meeting in December.

Business Arising From Minutes
Mike approached the CEO of the Library regarding an Internet connection for our meetings. He agrees we should have one but has to approach the city about it.

Regarding the Trillium Fund Application Paul discovered that it is necessary to be incorporated in order to apply.

New Business
Dave suggested each executive member should make known by March whether he/she is willing to stand next term.

Changes to the Constitution are brought up in March, presented in April and voted on in May.

Members to stand for the executive are requested in April, presented in May and voted on in June.

Elizabeth is to ask Alva to look into the program on computers in the schools she suggested.
