EXECUTIVE MEMBERS

Secretary’s Report
Paul made corrections to the minutes, which were approved as corrected.
Accepted by Paul and seconded by Ken.
Alva stood in for Elizabeth who was absent.

Treasurers Report
Everyone was asked to submit an inventory.
Mike checked Ken’s monitors. They all work and he made notes for each one as to their performance. Paul asked Mike to put the monitors on the site.
Four executives will have signing authority: President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. Report accepted by George and seconded by Ray.

Membership Report
George reported 33 members, 16 attended the last meeting.

Paul paid $21.00 for the URL “Crooked Stick” for one year. However it is not showing as paid. He has phoned several times.
Site is growing. March reported 3 times the average hits. March visits: 2,613.
Mike offered to look after more pages.

Dave recapped several Photoshop Elements 3 tutorials.

May will be a walkabout, destination to be decided or if weather is bad a demonstration of Word graphics.
June meeting Mike will have pictures from his friend Richard including some of Flat Stanley’s escapades.

Business arising from the Minutes
Paul is checking the availability of a 17” LCD monitor in the range of $250.00 to $300.00. Would like the monitor to be available for the June show – Celebrate Barrie at the lakefront.

Paul made a motion to buy 17” monitor under $300.00 plus tax. Ken seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous. All agreed that the next purchase should be a microphone. Paul motioned in principal to purchase a microphone system. Ray seconded the motion.
Discussed wireless internet service. Paul to get information from Dr. Computer Logic and Pavliks and a company in the Barrie Advance Building.
Paul will send request for Hub magazine. Until he receives confirmation he will pick it up.

New Business
Bill Porter passed away on April 12, 2006. Ken volunteered to take over the task of placing ads in the Examiner for monthly meetings
