EXECUTIVE MEMBERS

Secretary’s Report
Ken requested that the report in the minutes of the April meeting concerning his monitors be placed under New Business.
It was moved by Dave, seconded by George that the Secretary’s Report be accepted as corrected. Passed.

Treasurers Report
Total Balance as of 10/05/2006- $1848.12
Acceptance of the report as corrected was moved by Ken, and seconded by Paul Passed
Dave reminded us that we need to send him the inventories of our material.

Membership Report
George reported that we have 31 members.
There were 17 members at the May meeting.

Newsletter
Don reported that he did not receive a copy of the minutes for April.

Webmaster
Paul reported that he has taken care of “Crooked Stick”
He tries to have 2 or 3 new things for the website every month.
He would appreciate any suggestions for new links.
Brian suggested there might be a note on the web welcoming those from abroad and asking for their input.

Anniversary Committee
No report

Vintage Sig
Ray is working on his inventory, which is rather extensive.

PC Sig
Mike made an interesting presentation on “System Mechanics” at the May meeting.

The June meeting will be the election of officers.
Paul will postpone his presentation on making DVDs.
Dave will present something in place of it.

Digital Sig
Ten members attended the meeting.
We took a photo trip to Little Lake and returned to the Library where we showed our results.
Dave remarked it is amazing how different the results can be when all the photos are taken at the same place.
Dave did a demonstration of images taken from the web. He uses Adobe Acrobat 5.

Mike’s friend Richard is to speak and show pictures at the June meeting.
Alva has a program explaining Word graphics if we need it.

Video Sig
The group met on the Third Thursday of April.
They had an interesting evening working on changing wide screen video to full screen.

The next meeting is to be the third Thursday of May.

Business arising from the Minutes
Paul will have a monitor for use at the booth at the “Celebration of Barrie” on June third.

He is still looking at microphones.

Ray will go to the meeting about the Celebration of Barrie on May 25th at City Hall. Dave also plans to attend.

Paul will continue to pick up HUB

New Business
Mike has invited the executive to his home again for the BBQ on June 15th.

Dave mentioned a piece of software called Camtasia.
It records your screen and your audio and your video.
It also creates CD’s and makes slide shows.

There is a magazine “Photoshop CS” which has training sessions and has a web site. It might suit the Club.
