Membership Report
George reported that we have 26 members. There were 16 members and one visitor at the June meeting.

Publicity
No Report.

Newsletter
Don reported that there would be a newsletter in September.

Webmaster
Mike reported for Paul that there had been a few minor changes to the web site.

Anniversary Committee
No Report

Vintage Sig
No Report

PC Sig
Paul gave a presentation on Excel for the July meeting.
Next month there will be a demonstration on how to move pictures onto CDs and also on backing up users data in XP. There has been a request for information on how to restore your system.

Digital Imaging Sig
There were 10 members present on Tuesday. Paul gave a demo of the 3D filter in Adobe Elements but said he found it was not very exciting. He also showed how to use the flare filter. Elizabeth showed enhanced flower pictures including hard copy. Melvina showed prints done on watercolour paper. Several members showed their pictures. The group is hoping to meet at Henry’s, perhaps in October. We hope to have a field trip on a Saturday in September. Sunnidale Park has been suggested.

Video Sig
The Video SIG met as usual, Paul showed some aspects of Adobe Premier Elements 3. There will be no meeting in July or August

Business arising from the Minutes
We were reminded that the BUG BBQ will be on Saturday, September 8th at Brian’s beginning at 1.00 pm.

On the subject of our continuing search for a meeting place, the Holiday Inn was suggested as a possibility.
