Moved by David and seconded by Don that the minutes be approved as presented.

Membership Report
George reported that we have 26 members. There were 15 members and 3 visitors at the July meeting.

Publicity
With much effort Alva had managed to fix the ad in the Barrie Examiner.

Newsletter
Don reported that there would be a newsletter in September provided enough content was submitted.

Webmaster

Anniversary Committee
No Report

Vintage Sig
No Report

PC Sig
David showed the members where to find all their application data is stored and how to back it up. He also demonstrated the proper way to burn data onto a CD. He also held a Q&A session.

Digital Imaging Sig
There were 10 members present on Tuesday. Several members showed their pictures. The Henry’s tutorials where used to help fill the time for the rest of the night.

Video Sig
No report. There will be no meeting in July or August

Business arising from the Minutes
Ken is to submit an article to the newsletter on how he thinks the Fax has become a thing of the past.

Brian has done some looking into alternate places to hold meetings and reported the fallowing:
Comfort Inn $115 + Tax Holiday Inn $325 + Tax
Travel Lodge $95 + Tax Days Inn $118 + Tax
Super 8 $165 + Tax
We were reminded that the BUG BBQ will be on Saturday, September 8th at Brian’s beginning at 1.00 pm.
