Membership in the Barrie Users Group (BUG) is open to all who have a genuine interest in computing - home or office. Application form.

We welcome users of PCs (Windows), Commodore C64/128, Amiga, and ALL other types of computers.

Our members consist of a mix of people at every age, gender and level, from new computer users to experts in nearly every field.

We are people like you, who want to learn more about computers and computer software. We want to be able to go into computer stores and know what we are buying, what questions to ask, and what is a fair price. We want to know how to do our own basic maintenance and to use the software we purchase to its fullest capabilities.

Monthly Club meetings

(see the Meetings page for dates and scheduling), run from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the large conference room of the Barrie Public Library, where problems are shared and solutions suggested (Tips).
The meetings usually consist of two demonstrations, one for the basic user and one for those more advanced, unless we have a guest speaker that night. The meetings are informal and everyone is encouraged to take part.

Visitors are most welcome to come and "try us out".
The first meeting is FREE.

Regular $40
We do not need to know your age.

Student $30
Must provide proof (e.g. photocopy of student card)

Family $10
(One member of family must be a "Regular" member $40)

Visitor $5 (per meeting)
The first meeting is FREE!

Mail in your application with a check for the appropriate amount to the address on the Membership Application Form or bring it to your first meeting.
