Vintage Computers SIG

These pages are dedicated to the users of what we affectionately call Vintage Computers. It is hard to believe that in only 25 years or less an item can be called vintage, but in technology years this is an eternity.

The Barrie Users' Group started primarily with users of Commodore products such as the Pet, C64, and AMIGA but we hope that people who have an interest in any type of computer that is no longer in "popular" use will contribute to this section  i

The Vintage SIG will have its own booth at the SIT  in October.  The 64 and other machines, some working, will be available to help in demonstrating the history of computer useage, at least over the last 25 years.  The next two links are to C64  sites which show that the 64 still lives! and that people around the world are "keeping the deam alive"

This is a link which has tried to gather together commodore groups around the world.  You will notice that although we are no longer an active Commodore group, our little group is one of only seven listed for all of Canada.   Cool!

This one provides another international perspective on the world of Commodore.  Check out the historical account.
